**Sign Fabricator**

New Century Signs Ltd., Atlantic Canada's leading specialist in the sign industry, is looking for an experienced fabricator to join our team.

**Your full-time role will include providing a full range of duties including**:

- Responsible for cutting and finishing of lexan, acrylic and other substrates as per information provided.
- Fabrication of steel/aluminum cabinets, awnings, channel letters, raceways, neon, sheet metal work and assembly and finishing where required.
- Ability to weld is considered an asset.
- Assembly & wiring of LED lighting systems.
- Monitor inventory levels within area of responsibility and advise purchaser as required.
- Perform preventative maintenance to tools and equipment as required.
- Quality control of production material including discrepancies in work orders to drawings, measurements, material etc.

As a sign fabricator, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your skills as you work on a variety of sign and architectural projects.

Former experience in sign fabrication is considered an asset but not necessary.

**Applicants must have**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with hand tools
- Basic knowledge on how electrical works
- Ability to read blueprints
- Professional work ethic
- Ability to improvise & solve problems
- Must be able to work alone or as a team member

Experience in the sign manufacturing industry is considered an asset.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
