Parts Coordinator

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the overall accuracy and cost effectiveness of our company inventory through the following core processes:

- Responsible for sourcing parts and making necessary entries to record these transactions in our systems.
- Ensuring optimal inventory levels of critical spare parts are maintained on-hand
- Finding cost reduction solutions for the procurement of parts and repair items
- Assisting Technicians with locating parts and ordering parts required for service work. Ensuring parts are being properly captured on work orders.
- Ensuring the physical organization of our store of parts inventory within our facility including putting away inventory into designated bins once received.
- Conducting inventory counts at various intervals including year-end
- Prepare and process paperwork for core returns and warranty claims
- Periodic parts-delivery and parts pickup activities within a 100km radius to assist in time sensitive repairs
- Periodic shuttling of drivers within a 100km radius.
- Responsible for the updating and monitoring of maintenance reminders with our systems as part of our Preventative Maintenance program. Assisting as necessary with regards to scheduling of service work.
- Participate in light duty preventative maintenance work including greasing equipment, air filter checks/changes, visual inspections etc.
- Periodically assist others with moving heavy objects

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Strong work ethic and receptive to being trained
- Proficient with computers
- Experience in the automotive/heavy equipment or parts industry considered an asset
