**Alberta Beer Festivals & Let’s Meet for a Beer**

**Marketing Coordinator / Event Marketing & Production**

This is a full time position with a 40hr work week with a blend of in-office and remote days depending on our event schedule. We will have you working closely with members of the ABF team to implement the Marketing strategy for Alberta Beer Festivals, Let’s Meet for a Beer & affiliate businesses. Dillon (COO) will be your main point of contact for deliverables and Mark, Trevor & Bill will be your in-office contacts.

**The overall purpose of this position is to**:

- Increase ABF’s social media presence, awareness and engagement
- Grow our podcast Let’s Meet for a Beer through youtube and instagram
- Increase festival ticket sales revenue through established ABF social media channels
- Establish ABF’s social media as a consistent revenue source through paid partnerships
- Create, monitor, manage, maintain high quality digital footprint
- Follow best practices in brand building and engagement
- Work On-Site at Festivals for event production

**Social Media / Newsletter / Community Management**
- Manage social media accounts, including content creation, copy writing, scheduling, and community engagement
- Support daily administrative tasks to ensure the marketing department runs smoothly
- Assist in the development of a content plan and schedule for distribution via appropriate online channels.
- Work with team to ensure that content meets quality standards & adheres to guidelines.
- Administer and manage Alberta Beer Festivals websites, social media & digital marketing
- Assist with publication and distribution of organic and paid assets across social channels to ensure our brands are supported & actively represented online.
- Use knowledge of digital culture and what’s trending to provide social media campaign recommendations for ABF brands, ambassadors, influencers and events.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on ambassador/ influencer campaigns.
- Moderate online conversations and act as the digital “eyes and ears” to continue to build an overall reputation that is aligned with company branding guidelines and policies.
- Work with the Customer Services team, where relevant, to deal with issues raised online.
- Utilize familiarity with social media monitoring tools to proactively analyze and report on community feedback, sentiment, and social media data.
- Design and develop high-quality marketing materials using industry-standard tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring that all materials align with brand guidelines and support branding efforts. This includes creating eye-catching graphics, visually appealing presentations, and engaging social media content that effectively communicate the brand message to target audiences.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute new and innovative ideas that improve brand recognition and awareness. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques to maintain a fresh and modern look across all marketing materials.
- Support event planning and execution

**Social Media Posts / Campaigns Create, Distribute, Monitor & Manage Content Across All Platforms**
- Using Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and Twitter to posts stories, videos, reels, posts - showcasing ABF content strategy
- Instagram, Tik-Tok, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter
- Creating original text, video & blog post content
- Responding to comments and sharing relevant content for brand engagement
- Oversee social media accounts design, look & feel
- Maintain ABF video and photo library for future use
- Monitor partnership promos with digital brands (Date Night, Curiocity, etc)
- Communication and implementation of key timelines & metrics

**Podcast Strategy Implementation**
- Create weekly social media posts & reels to promote podcast
- Implement the paid promotional strategy to increase subscriptions and listeners
- Track podcast metrics to ensure continuous improvement and successful campaigns

**Newsletter Production & Distribution**
- Create weekly / biweekly newsletter to ABF newsletter subscribers

**Contesting, Giveaways & Campaigns**
- Manage ABF giveaways, contests & campaigns
- Track metrics and report on results
- Communicate with winners, ABF audience

**Maintenance & Improvements**
- Research current benchmark trends and optimal audience preferences
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics

**Other Items & TBD Tasks Involving Social, Web & Identity Management**
- Use Hootsuite to schedule posts for the upcoming week to go out via Facebook, Twitter & Linked In, and Unum to schedule Instagram posts.
