**Nail Technician Job Description**

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Perform manicure and pedicure services, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Educate clients on proper nail care and maintenance, including the importance of sanitation.
- Offer additional services such as body waxing, hair threading, and hair extensions when applicable.
- Utilize knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting nail colors that best suit their style.
- Engage in retail sales by promoting products that complement the services provided, including upselling techniques.
- Maintain a clean workstation and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their needs effectively.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Nail Technician or in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
- Familiarity with retail math to assist in sales transactions effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
- A passion for beauty and wellness, along with a willingness to learn new techniques and trends.
