North Vancouver, Canada North Vancouver Sleep Disorders Clinic and Laboratory Full time

Job Summary:
We are looking for an RPSGT to join our team at North Vancouver Sleep Disorders Clinic and Laboratory. We are a Ministry-approved Level I, 6 bed sleep laboratory utilizing Sleepware G3 Alice 6 Sleep Diagnostic system.

Role:
The sleep technician conducts polysomnograms for the diagnosis and treatment of sleeping disorders; conducts CPAP titration studies; conducts daytime sleep studies - Multiple Sleep Latency Tests and Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests; conducts home sleep apnea testing.

**Requirements**:

- RPSGTs - must be registered with the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists
- Must be in good professional standing with their associated accredited, registering bodies
- Recent work experience in the field of sleep required

**Perform duties including**:

- Receiving and reviewing requisitions.
- Entering relevant data into an electronic medical record.
- Patient set up for the sleep study - EOG, EMG, EEG, ECG, EMG and axillary monitors
- Monitoring patient during overnight studies
- Monitoring patient during daytime studies
- Scoring and technical analysis of sleep studies for interpreting physicians.
- Monitoring and maintaining equipment performance
- Patient care
- Scoring of Level 1 and level 3 sleep studies, and will be paid on a per study basis as an addition to your wage.

Pay: $32.00-$35.80 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
