Trillium Health Partners is embarking on a journey as part of a long-term infrastructure plan announced by the Ontario government which has dedicated significant funding to support the construction of new hospital projects across Ontario. As part of this plan, THP is in the process of forming a multi-disciplinary team that will lead planning for the redevelopment and expansion of both the Mississauga Hospital (M-site) and Queensway Health Centre (Q-site) sites. With constant inputs on design and planning considerations from all the respective expertise on the team, our goal is to work together to ultimately produce a holistic and inclusive design.

We are seeking an experienced project manager with a background in biomedical engineering, information technology & communications systems in the acute care hospital sector, preferably with experience in supporting major capital development, with a sound understanding of clinical processes and functional requirements.

Position Overview:_**

Working with the Redevelopment team, other THP staff and external consultants, this position will play a role coordinating a wide range of activities relating to the planning, specifications, procurement and redeployment of medical equipment technology and furniture for the Q-site and M-site Redevelopment Projects. Reporting to the Manger, FFE & ICAT Planning, the Project Manager will act as one of the hospital’s representatives in discussions with a multi-disciplinary team of hospital professionals, department stakeholders, architects and consultants in the planning and development of FFE requirements.

Here’s what you will get to do:_**
- Attend and provide input during FFE and Design User Group meetings. Is responsible for gathering specific FFE requirements and specifications.
- Review Equipment lists for accuracy, ensuring utilities, equipment quantities, and specifications are correct. Use knowledge of THP standards and current FFE to inform Equipment lists and specifications. Review inventory list and confirm transferability based on PM and repair history.
- Review drawings to ensure FFE is reflected accurately, and adequate space for items have been placed on drawings. Ensure appropriate integration and coordination of FFE. Be involved in the capital planning and redevelopment process.
- Participate as a SME in writing Project Specific Output Specifications and procurement specification to ensure the needs of the hospital are met during procurement
- Develop FFE procurement documentation including scoring criteria; analysis of responses to RFX;
