Collection Agent

Connect Marketing is a Special Event Marketing company, responsible for producing top tier, family friendly events such as Pro Hockey Heroes games, full scale Western Rodeos and tribute concerts. All events raise funds for well-known charities across Ontario. We are seeking a highly motivated, professional individual to be a key member of our Collection team. Individual must have experience. This position is not remote.

The following will outline a general job description
- Contact business and residential customers by phone who have made commitments over the phone and provide a gentle reminder regarding their payment.
- Document call activity details
- Handle objections and negotiate settlements if appropriate
- Accountable for the unpaid box to ensure all business cards are filed timely; review all unpaid business cards and cycle through collection process.
- Update customer account information with clear information, i.e., commitment to pay, date of time called and other call updates
- Accountable to assist in card audits for art collections if cards are missing
- Comfortable with outbound calling and asking for payment over the phone
- Comfortable and able to negotiate a turn down for a sale
- Fluent in English
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Positive, energetic attitude
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and telephone skills, experience preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Based on experience

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift. Individual must be available nights and Saturdays

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
