K. & S. Railings is continuing to expand operations by bringing powder coating in-house. We’re looking for an experienced shop labourer to join our team and participate in getting our powder coating operations up and running.
- Full-time/Permanent_
- Monday to Friday_
- Starting at $20-$30/hour depending on experience_

- **Position**_

The **Powder Coat Shop Labour** position is best suited for an individual with experience working in a fast-paced powder coating facility.

Reporting to the company’s Powder Coat Shop Foreman, the **Powder Coat Shop Labour** will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Read and interpret shop drawings
- Operate and maintain powder coat spray guns
- Operate various hand tools
- Remove and hang inventory from paint line
- Assist with loading and unloading inventory
- Assist with pre-treatment process of inventory
- Communicate with powder coat shop foreman to prioritize workflow
- Maintain clean and organized shop space
- Understand and follow appropriate safety procedures
- Assist shop foreman with miscellaneous shop duties

- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and mindset
- Ability to work both as a team player and individually
- Ability to lift up-to 40lbs repetitively
- Self-driven and reliable
- Ability to work overtime when necessary
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
- **Education and Experience**_
- Minimum 1 year experience working at a powder coating facility
- Valid driver’s license or consistent ability to arrive to work on time necessary
- OHS First Aid certificate an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
