**CNC Operator - Double Column Vertical Machining Center**

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate CNC machines, including lathes, to produce precision components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Program CNC machines as needed, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.
- Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and resolve any issues that arise.
- Utilize warehouse equipment, including forklifts, for material handling as necessary.
- Assist in welding tasks when required to support production needs.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with CAD software for programming CNC machines is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is a plus.
- Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.18-$30.45 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
