The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for managing all servers and beer cart girls, creating their schedules, and ensuring they are trained to deliver excellent customer service. The supervisor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the front of house area, ensuring compliance with Alberta Health and Safety standards. Additionally, the supervisor will conduct weekly inventory checks and report to the F&B controller. This is not a 9-5 job, and the supervisor must be available for early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and train all servers and beer cart girls
- Create weekly schedules for servers and beer cart girls
- Conduct weekly inventory checks and report to the F&B controller
- Ensure compliance with Alberta Health and Safety standards in the front of house area
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the front of house area
- Perform cleaning duties and ensure servers are cleaning properly
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
- Handle guest complaints and resolve them in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Attend regular meetings and training sessions to improve job knowledge and skills
- Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed and complete daily cash deposits
- Assist with managing workplace supplies/inventory levels
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry
- Proserve
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Alberta Health and Safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
- Ability to manage and train staff effectively
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

- Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- hopsitality/events: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- ProServe (required)
