Cambridge, Canada Muller Hardware & Supply Full time

Please note that this is not an entry level position. The Material Handler & Shop Coordinator will be as follows but not limited to:

- Verify incoming and outgoing orders with an extremely high degree of accuracy;
- Manage the flow of materials through moving and storing products including retrieving products for production crew. This will require the use of a forklift or picker. This will require knowledge of materials needed;
- Work with the estimator(s), project manager(s), project coordinator(s), and shop crew in order to meet strict deadlines;
- Point of contact for customers picking up orders;
- Point of contact for couriers;
- Shipping and receiving;
Additional Tasks:

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment including removing skids from work areas;
- Light sweeping to maintain equipment and safety;
- Assist fabricators when needed;
- Lifting is a requirement of this job, up to 100lbs;
- Back up driver, so a valid G license is required;
- Additional tasks as assigned.

Please note that we will be providing training for the role and our industry.

- Highly organized;
- Strong initiative;
- Process oriented individual;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, work under pressure, and meet deadlines with numerous work interruptions & task switching;
- Friendly and professional individual;
- Understanding of basic construction materials and measurements (imperial versus metric);
- Above average interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

**Additional Requirements**
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset but not a requirement;
- Forklift training is considered an asset but we will provide training if necessary;
- Comfortable using power tools, knows how to read a measuring tape;
- Strong data management skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;

- Other fabricating tools.
