Seeking **experienced, mature, reliable, & detail-oriented** individuals to join our **Winter Maintenance Team**. This position will require the use of a **SKID STEER AND/OR FRONT-END LOADER** to clear snow from Commercial properties in the Orillia area. _**SHIFT WILL PRIMARILY BE OVERNIGHT/EARLY MORNING START TIMES**_. **YOU MUST ANSWER THE PRE-SCREENING QUESTIONS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.**

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Perform routine Circle Checks and top up Fluids and/or Fuel as necessary;
- Follow a pre-determined Route and Clear Snow from Commercial Properties;
- Accurately complete Route Log Sheets/Electronic Logs;
- Communicate with fellow Crew Members and Office Dispatch via Two-Way Radio's to ensure expedient and efficient Service to all properties;
- Ability to commit to working the duration of the Winter Maintenance Season as required, (up to and including April 30, 2025);
- Physically-fit and capable of working outdoors in extreme temperatures for extended periods of time (although Equipment is Climate-Controlled);
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time while operating equipment;
- Ability to assist with Hand Shoveling & Ice Control of some Commercial Sidewalks/Walkways;
- Ability to work a variety of Shifts including days, evening, overnight, weekends, & holidays, including extended hours;
- 2 Pieces of Valid, Government-issued Photo Identification, in additional to a Valid Ontario Social Insurance Number;
- Legally-entitled to work for payment in the Province of Ontario;
- Other duties as assigned by Management

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 55 per week

- Do you currently have, or have the means to acquire, appropriate Winter Maintenance Gear to work outdoors in this type of setting (Winter Boots, Winter Coat, Snow Pants, Hat, Gloves, etc...)?

Our Management Team closely-monitors the weather forecasts and conditions, and will provide the Winter Maintenance Crew with as much notice as possible for impending conditions that may require our deployment to Service our Clients. We notify our Staff by Broadcast Text Messaging and/or Phone Calls. While we attempt to give as much notice as possible, there are instances where short-notice is required in order to advise of deployment. Do you have any issues with being notified by Text/Call, or reporting to work on short-notice (you would be provided with a minimum of 1-2 hours Notice--but only in extenuating circumstances. You are generally notified well in advance--8 hours or more)?
- Do you have at least (2) pieces of Valid, Government-issued Identification, one of which contains a Photo (Driver's Licence, Ontario Photo Card, Passport) (please note that Social Insurance Cards or Health Cards can not be accepted as Identification)?
- Do you have means of reliable transportation to get yourself to and from our Office/Shop in Orillia to report for each Shift?
- Can you commit to working a flex-schedule, dependent on weather that will dictate our Services to Clients, from Date of Hire until April 30, 2025?
