**Documentation and Reporting**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supervision and Management**:

- Oversee tandem and triaxle combination snow plows and brine trucks that are clearing regional and local roads and highways (Snowplow Camps)
- Oversee snow and ice removal of sidewalks, transportation facility parking lots, and public walkways.
- Provide supervision for designated areas during the contract period.
- Ensure all equipment is running, staffed, and ready to commence operations within one hour of notification.
- Coordinate with the City's Supervisor to ensure all operations meet the City's operational levels and performance standards.
- Perform quality control inspections and ensure all personnel are performing required tasks as directed.

**Operational Readiness**:

- Maintain readiness to carry out winter maintenance activities 24/7 during the winter season.
- Ensure sufficient replacement staff and operators are available to provide continuous service.
- Familiarize with all assigned routes and document any hazards or anomalies.

**Health and Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and all relevant legislation.
- Ensure all personnel are knowledgeable about health and safety policies and wear the necessary personal protective equipment.

**Communication**:

- Be accessible and available by phone 24/7 during the contract season.
- Liaise with the City of Brampton's Supervisor to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Provide timely updates on any necessary repairs and maintenance issues.
- Ensure all log sheets and electronic records are completed accurately and submitted at the end of each shift.
- Notify the City of any damages to private property within 24 hours and take appropriate action.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in winter maintenance supervision or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of winter maintenance operations, equipment, and safety protocols.
