As Xradar's next **Utility Locator Technician - Trainee, **you will be supported and encouraged to grow with every opportunity. **As our Utility Locator Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities may include**:

- Visiting various work sites (will be required to work in all weather conditions), as well as work in the office
- Reading and interpreting site plans, construction print data and maps, to assist in location of subsurface utility facilities
- Locating and marking subsurface utilities with a range of geophysical tools
- Providing digital drawings and detailed reports to clients, as well as communicating important subsurface utility findings with clients.
- Following all health and safety protocols

**On your resume, we will be looking for the following**:

- Valid class 5 BC driver's license as required for use of company vehicle
- Previous construction or trade experience is an asset
- Experience in geophysical surveys, land surveying, or geomatics is an asset
- Strong computer literacy, including expertise in AutoCAD, ArcGIS and GPS is an asset
