**Your Challenge**Role & Responsibilities**
- Performs all tasks related to the safe and efficient operation of the steam plant including routine inspection, testing, repairs and maintenance
- Documents steam production and consumption, gas consumption, water and hydro readings
- Inspects and operates HVAC systems
- Performs water analysis on boilers and maintains and monitors water treatment
- Familiar with computerized maintenance management systems and preventative maintenance programs
- Supports divisional and corporate objectives including health & safety, productivity, continuous improvement, innovation, quality, waste and 5S

**Qualifications**
- 2 years of work experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- 2ND Class Operating Engineer certificate (or 3rd class, close to advancement will also be considered)
- Ability to approach problems logically, under pressure and seek innovative solutions
- Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and possesses a strong safety focus
- Proficiency in DCS preferred
- Available and flexible to work all shifts including overtime
