Kingston, Canada Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises Full time

As the Digital Marketing Assistant you will contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Marketing team by aiding in promoting visitor experiences in Kingston and the 1000 Islands destination. You will also provide excellent customer service to guests and participate in other office tasks as needed.

**Season**: This is a spring-summer-fall seasonal position. The Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises operating season begins in April and ends in October.

**Qualifications**:

- Positive attitude and creative approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Verbal and written proficiency in French is an asset.
- Competent using MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro.
- Experience shooting, editing, exporting and uploading digital photo and video content.
- Familiarity with SEO, SEM, Google Ads, Google Analytics and social scheduling software.
- Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, or other creative field.
- Some previous experience creating/managing digital ad campaigns required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be a Kingston ambassador by sharing product and city knowledge with guests.
- Complete reservations and administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs, exceed expectation, create an outstanding experience.

Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises operates the “Food, Fun and Entertainment Ships” of the 1000 Islands, demonstrating hospitality excellence on 1-hour and 3-hour cruises departing from downtown Kingston. Cruises sail on a fleet of three sightseeing and dining vessels ranging in size from 100 to 250 passengers: The Island Belle, The Island Queen, and the Island Star.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Work Location: One location

Expected start date: 2023-04-15
