**Position Overview**

**What You Will Do**:

- Execute nanocoating experiments and characterization using Nfinite’s systems (open-air SALD) and analytical equipment, adhering to strict project timelines.
- Maintain meticulous records of experimental procedures, outcomes, and observations, ensuring adherence to established protocols, safety regulations, and cleanliness standards.
- Actively participate in the refinement of nanocoating formulations and processes through data analysis, contributing to the enhancement of Nfinite’s product offerings and the ideation of novel solutions in collaboration with our team of material scientists and engineers.
- Conduct packaging tests and collaborate with external partners on packaging and product testing to ensure Nfinite’s coatings are compatible with industrial manufacturing processes.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of laboratory equipment, including Nfinite’s systems and measurement tools, to guarantee operational efficiency, troubleshoot any arising issues, and coordinate with technical support for repairs as needed.
- Offer valuable insights and constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement of Nfinite’s systems, technologies, and operational procedures.
- Oversee the laboratory inventory, ensuring that all materials are well-organized, readily accessible, and managed in a manner that upholds a safe and productive work environment.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- A diploma in Packaging Engineering, or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or a related field.
- Knowledge and understanding of safe operating practices (EHS, OSHA, etc.).
- A fast learner with the ability to juggle multiple requests/tests.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow experimental procedures meticulously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to safety and the ability to adhere to strict laboratory safety protocols.
- Reliability in meeting project deadlines and responsibilities.
- Openness to giving and receiving feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

**Bonus for**:

- Prior experience or coursework related to nanocoatings, thin films, or materials science desired.
