**Athabasca University's Human Resources and Employee Relationsis currently recruiting for the position of HR Client Rep - Records.**

**_ Please note this is a permanentfull-time (_**_1.0FTE)_**_position starting May, 2024._**

**Position**:
As a key member of the HR Client Advisory Services team, the Human Resources Client Representative - HR Records (HRCR-Records) is responsible for inputting all operational administrative processing relating to the employee lifecycle.

The HRCR-Records is responsible for:

- Entering and processing records appropriately and raising any concerns regarding compliance with collective agreements, applicable legislation and HR policies and procedures.
- Processing of all casual appointments including drafting offer letters and employee agreements.
- Varied tasks, providing exceptional client service to all internal University clients, and must exercise consistent judgement and discretion under the guidance of the Director, Human Resources
- Championingthe HR strategic strategy and plan
- Actively participatingand contributingto HR Client Advisory Services team initiatives, and AU initiatives, in consultation with the Director, Human Resources.

**Qualifications**:

- A two (2) year diploma in Business Administration or a related field as well as three to five years administrative experience. A combination of related education and experience may be considered.
- Previous experience tracking workflows and resolving issues with stakeholders is an asset.
- Previous experience with data analytics and administrative reporting is an asset.
- Experience in Human Resources within a unionized environment considered an asset.
- Excellent computer skills including HRIS - Banner, Microsoft Office, Cognos, is an asset.
- The incumbent must possess strong verbal, written, analytical and mathematical skills as well as a strong attention to detail.
- Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload in order to adhere to inflexible timelines.
- The ability to work independently and exercise consistent judgment and discretion under the guidance of the Director is essential.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and exemplary interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality is required.
