We are excited to recruit a Recreational Vehicle (RV) Delivery Technician to join our team at Bluenose RV Centre. Located in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, we are one of the largest RV dealerships in Atlantic Canada. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe delivery and set up of vehicles purchased, ensuring our clients are satisfied and RVs are ready to provide the perfect accommodation for memorable adventures.

- Research and onsite inspection — conducting preliminary research on the site where the vehicle will be placed to ensure that it is appropriate and ready to accommodate the RV;
- Quality assurance — conducting quality checks to guarantee that each RV meets our high standards and is free from defects before delivery;
- Customer orientation - providing comprehensive orientations to customers, including explaining RV features, functionality, and maintenance procedures;
- Vehicle delivery — delivering the RV in a safe manner that minimizes any damage to either the vehicle or the property it is being delivered to;
- Site clean up — ensuring any materials, garbage, etc., that were brought onto the property from Bluenose RV Centre are removed;
- Onsite vehicle service — providing onsite services when required; replacing components on vehicles including electrical/plumbing and carpentry repairs and taking pictures to assist with warranty issues;
- Problem resolution — providing excellent customer service, including addressing and resolving any customer concerns or questions during the delivery process;
- Collaboration — working with other departments to address and rectify any issues identified during inspections and deliveries to ensure a seamless customer experience;
- Communication — keeping management updated on issues and status of work underway;
- Health and safety — conducting all responsibilities in a manner that does not create a health and safety hazard to themselves or others; and,
- Continuous learning — participating in ongoing training to ensure skills are relevant as technology advances.
- High school completion;
- Demonstrated proficiency with basic tools and equipment;
- Proficiency in understanding RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components;
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience repairing carpentry, electrical, and plumbing issues in a safe and compliant manner;
- Demonstrated experience with large vehicle towing and installation;
- Superior driving and towing skills;
- A valid Nova Scotia Driver’s License (Class 15) is essential;
- Ability to interpret maps, use GPS and follow directions; and
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Due to the outside nature of the work, the incumbent must deal with all types of weather, including extreme heat and cold. The structure of the vehicle being delivered often means being in awkward positions (ie under the trailer) for extended periods of time. You must be able to physically lift 100 pounds.

There is also a requirement to work lengthy days and weeks during our peak season.

**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
