**Purpose of the position**:
The Warehouse Associate will report directly to the Fulfillment and Logistics Team Leader. Responsibilities shall include filling, packing and co-packing orders from stored product in accordance with specifications on the packing slip.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
- Read orders / packing slips or receive oral instructions for work assignments.
- Fill orders from warehouse stock, assemble orders in packaging containers (boxes, sleeves, tubes, flats)
- Transport filled orders to packing area, and then move to the shipping systems.
- Unpack received products and count, weigh or sort items
- Stock shelves, racking and keep stock clean and in order
- Mark and/or tag containers with identifying information
- Operate, navigate, or drive mechanized material handling equipment
- Communicate problems with material handling equipment, structures, or materials to Fulfillment and Logistics Team Leader
- Complete daily order / packing slips.
- Capable in using packaging tools (e.g. staplers, tape guns, tape machines, strapping machines)
- Measurement Tools (e.g. scale, measuring tape)
- Other duties as assigned by manager including general cleaning duties, assembly and cycle counting
**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with previous relevant experience;
- Strong capability to work with management on all levels within the organization and harmoniously within a team environment is required;
- Forklift certification
- Exceptional attention to detail and good command of the English language (read, write, speak) with respect to:
- understanding and following all verbal and written instructions;
- completing paperwork and requisitioning of materials accurately and efficiently;
- complying with safety procedures and processes;
- Effective communication skills: internal and external customers;
- Strong skills in problem identification and solution-oriented problem solving
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted;
- Well organized, proactive and positive approach in the work place;
