students with a range of learning styles and abilities using a variety of teaching
strategies;
- strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills to communicate
with students, staff, and parents in a team oriented approach to teaching and
learning;
- strong formative assessment practices;
- experience with RTI (Response to Intervention) systems;
- ability to integrate technology to enhance student learning;
- strong interest in innovation and inquiry; and
- ability to embed local Indigenous culture and ways of knowing into teaching

practices.

The sta rting annual salary for a full-time School Teacher position ranges from $64,368 to $112,637, with placement in the

ran ge based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. The Remote
Recruitment and Retention allowance is available for SD85 teachers payable at $3,035 over ten months.
