**Our client, a North American Leader in the Fabrication sectors located in Mississauga ON, is in search of a Painter to join their reputable team**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Clean and prep surfaces using processes such as sanding, scraping and grinding.
- Experience with electrostatics.
- Application of a protective coating to a variety of metal material surfaces.
- Monitor extractors, drying fans and heaters.
- Board and mask material.
- Ensure all paint related waste is properly labelled, stored and disposed of.
- Maintain paint booth and associated equipment to ensure proper working conditions.
- Ensure job meets all requirements before leaving the work cell.
- Meet or exceed established production levels.
- Follows and comply with all Operational Procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee
- Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (i.e. IATF, ISO 14001)
- Any other duties as may be assigned.

**Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in spray painting in an industrial paint booth environment.
- Must have paint and electrostatic experience.
- Must have the ability to use small hand and power tools.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Experience with overhead cranes.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Industrial painting: 1 year (preferred)
- Spray painting: 1 year (preferred)
- Electrostatic: 1 year (preferred)
