**Store Associate**

Weekdays 12:00-20:30

$15.25/hour

**To provide excellent service to guests, receive donations, sort incoming product, maintain production quotas of sorted product and assists in maintenance of all store operations.**

**Cash/Service Focused**
- Greet guests, assist with needs, and answer guest questions
- Cash/ including debit and credit transactions, gift cards, and vouchers
- Morning float count
- End of day cash reconciliation
- Assist and thank guests with donations as required
- Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner
- Make in store announcements as required
- Promote upcoming sales or special fundraising events
- Inform guests of our exchange policy or let them know when an item is final sale
- Keep cash area clean, tidy, and clutter free
- Put stock onto sales floor as required
- Assist with ragout as required
- Assist with general floor recovery as required
- Ensure dressing rooms are maintained (hourly)
- Ensure all departments are tidy and shelves/racks replenished
- Assist in the maintenance of all store operations

**Backroom/Stock**
- Assist with receiving product/donations as required
- Sort clothing (saleable, non-saleable, recycling)
- Save items in boxes for upcoming holidays (Christmas/Easter/Valentines)
- Hang/Price/Tag clothing (to meet production targets)
- Replenish
- Put clothing in proper area - colour coded
- Sort/price Bric
- Ragout Bric (by dates)
- Sort/price Jewelry
- Price and put out shoes and purses (bale when needed)
- Set up auctions

**Housekeeping**
- Sweep/dust mop floor
- Wet floor signage as required
- Clean mirrors
- Clean windows
- Clean display cabinets/counters
- Clean kitchen and bathrooms as per schedule
- Window ledges dusted
- Remove any tape from windows
- Garbage disposed of
- Boxes of hangers to be stored in back room
- Shopping carts organized (likes with likes)

**Other**
- Other duties as assigned

- Do not indulge in any boisterous conduct or horseplay during working hours

Offrir un excellent service à la clientèle, recevoir les dons, trier les articles entrants, maintenir les quotas de tri et aider le gérant à assurer toutes les opérations liées au magasin.

**Service à la clientèle**
- Accueillir les clients et répondre à leurs besoins et à leurs questions.
- S’occuper de la caisse (transactions par carte de débit et de crédit, cartes-cadeaux et bons d’échange).
- Comptage du fonds de caisse du matin.
- Vérifier la concordance des transactions de la caisse, à la fin de la journée.
- Remercier les clients qui apportent des dons, et les aider, au besoin.
- Demander les adresses de courriel, au besoin.
- Répondre au téléphone d’une manière courtoise et professionnelle.
- Faire des annonces en magasin, selon les besoins.
- Faire la promotion de ventes ou d’activités spéciales de financement.
- Renseigner les clients sur notre politique en matière d’échanges, ou les avertir lorsqu’il s’agit d’une vente définitive.
- Maintenir la propreté et l’ordre autour de la caisse.
- Placer de la marchandise dans l’espace de vente, au fur et à mesure des besoins.
- Aider au retrait des articles qu’on n’a pas réussi à écouler après un certain temps, au besoin.
- Aider à ranger ou à nettoyer l’espace de vente du magasin, au besoin.
- Veiller à l’entretien des cabines d’essayage (toutes les heures).
- Veiller à ce que tous les rayons soient en ordre et les tablettes bien garnies.
- Participer à toutes les opérations liées au magasin.

**Arrière-boutique/stocks**
- Aider à recevoir les produits/dons, selon les besoins.
- Trier les vêtements (vendables, invendables, recyclables).
- Ranger dans des boîtes les articles associés à des fêtes importantes (Noël, Pâques, Saint-Valentin).
- Suspendre les vêtements, fixer leur prix et les étiqueter (afin de répondre aux objectifs de production).
- Regarnir les tablettes.
- Placer les vêtements aux bons endroits - codes de couleurs.
- Trier le bric-à-brac et fixer le prix de chaque article.
- Retirer le bric-à-brac qu’on n’a pas réussi à écouler (par ordre de date).
