The Sales Development Associate role not only provides a platform for ownership from the get-go, but also serves as a stepping stone to advance your sales career with various roles (i.e. Account Management, Category Management, and Market Development Strategy). Dedicated to the philosophy of promotion from within, the SDA role provides a foundation to explore future leadership opportunities. Not only do we encourage growth within sales, exploring cross-functional opportunities beyond Sales is also viable.

As a Sales Development Associate, 50% of your week will be dedicated to managing a territory with medium to large format stores. Embracing an entrepreneurial spirit, this part of the role allows you to build and maintain relationships with key contacts, strategically sell using customer & category insights and flawlessly execute promotions to help grow the General Mills business. The other 50% of their time is based out of the head office where SDAs gain experience and expertise in selling & negotiating, analyzing customer data, leading Retail Execution, and projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams to impact in-store conditions.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- Higher Degree Required. Degrees Preferred: HBA, BBA, BCOMM, MBA
- Sales oriented, independent with positive attitude and manner

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bilingualism (French) is an asset
- A good team player with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
