**About Our Opportunity**:
Under the supervision of the Customer Service Leader, the Summer Student may provide support services to the Division’s customer service functions by receiving, distributing, and maintaining mail and microfilm documents; scanning and quality control of documents; and shredding of documents. In addition, you may assist in the processing of some client transactions related to the Registry of Motor Vehicle Program.

**Primary Accountabilities**:
Some of your primary accountabilities in this role include:

- Opening, sorting and folders mail, attaching previous correspondence as appropriate; collecting and delivering internal mail
- Preparing mail for internal processing, checking over documents for errors and verifying their correctness when requested to do so.
- Imaging documents; retrieving and forwarding imaged documents upon request; reviewing imaged material and verifying for quality; uploading images to FileNet.
- Shredding of documents.
- Maintaining equipment in good working order through regular cleaning and loading, notifying supervisor when a technician is required in case of malfunction.
- Entering data in a computerized environment, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Provide a high standard of seamless service for the Registry of Motor Vehicles program.
- Ensure clients accomplish what they set out to do, have their questions answered and receive the support they require.
- Maintain the security and control of public funds and inventory.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
To be considered for this Summer Student opportunity, you are currently a full-time University or Community College student entering or returning to study in September 2023. Customer service industry experience is required. In addition, you demonstrate:

- Strong organizational skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Problem solving skills;
- Team player skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment;
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment;

Data entry skills, cash handling experience and bilingual ability in French and English would be viewed as assets. Proof of educational enrollment may be required.
