Have you always dreamed of a career with dogs? This is an excellent entry point and a great way to get experience handling lots of dogs. We are looking for a dedicated and reliable person who wants to work with dogs in some capacity long term and has a passion to learn

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Must be ok to work independently and be 100% reliable.
- Conduct ON leash individual training based walks with client dogs following The K9 Coach's methods and procedures.
- Communicate as needed, with the entire team at The K9 Coach
- Communicate weekly updates with Head Trainer/Business Owner
- Take Photos/Videos of client dogs during sessions
- Attend Staff meetings as needed
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing The K9 Coach.

Skills Required:

- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must have a reliable vehicle in good working condition (you will be driving to a variety of locations each day)
- Professionalism in dealing with people and dogs
- Safety as a #1 priority - Must have, or be willing to take, a Canine First Aid course
- Able to work with dogs on your own without help (we train you first)
- Able to work with all sizes, temperaments, and breeds
- Organized, Flexible, Dependable, Responsible, and Honest
- Well disciplined in time management
- Available 9am-2pm weekdays
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to crawl, run and jump
- Must be able to submit a criminal record check
- Must be ok with working outdoors year round in ALL weather conditions
- Experience working with dogs is a big asset
- Most suitable to someone residing in Abbotsford
- Looking for long term employment

We are a small team with a commitment to help people better understand their dogs. We are looking for an open minded and motivated human to join our team. We are committed to ongoing growth and development and are seeking someone who shares the same values. Ongoing training and education is provided, and there are opportunities to advance into dog training for the right individual.

Initial interview is through Zoom, followed by an in person working interview if you pass the first interview

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
