We are seeking a Manager, Inflight for our Inflight team to join our rapidly expanding, dynamic organization

**WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS**:
Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, the Manager, Inflight is responsible for the conduct and professional standards of the Inflight group. They will identify deficiencies and develop strategies to ensure that Cabin Crew are mentored, trained and disciplined in accordance with Lynx Air policies and procedures and as prescribed by regulation and the Corporation.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:

- Providing leadership and supervision to cabin crew
- Ensure that a current and approved Cabin Crew Manual is in place
- Ensure Cabin Crew training programs are current, approved and trained in accordance with the approved training program
- Issuance of directives and notices to the Cabin Crew as required
- Act upon and distribute accident, incident, and other occurrence reports
- Process and action Cabin Crew reports
- Assume other duties or responsibilities delegated by the Director, Flight Operations
- Be accountable for the maintenance of Cabin Crew training records
- Liaise with other Company departments
- Develop the onboard safety features card
- Actively participate in, and be a proponent of, all Company human resources, safety management, and quality assurance practices
- Delegate all responsibilities for operational duties to another qualified individual in the event of an absence from duty
- Ensuring all activities are within the assigned budget and any variances are well documented for future planning
- Ensuring processes are documented with version controls
- Allocating talent to projects and initiatives according to capabilities and interest
- Development and implementation of strategic plans
- Formulation of Inflight departmental policies
- Researching and establishing Inflight procedures
- The supervision of cabin crew
- Reviewing and evaluating new company policies and procedures and how they will be incorporated into Inflight training programs
- Providing training and leadership on standards, procedures, expectations and/or concerns
- Writing and reviewing all FAM amendments and bulletins and updating existing content
- Involvement in designing and reconfiguration of cabin interiors and galleys
- Providing employee feedback regarding job performance and developing strategies to monitor, evaluate and uphold standards
- Involvement in the recruiting process for the Inflight team
- Developing and implementing Inflight standard operating procedures for new aircraft
- Remain current as cabin crew

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE**:

- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Licensing and certification as required by Transport Canada relating to Boeing 737 aircraft
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the organization and across all businesses
- A high level of initiative, strong organizational skills and adaptability to change
- Possess the ability to work under pressure & independently
- Demonstrated ability to determine performance goals and hold others accountable

**TRANSPORT CANADA REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Knowledge of the contents of the air operator’s operations manual, air operator certificate and operations specifications as are necessary for the performance of the assigned duties.
- Knowledge of the provisions of the Aeronautics Act, the Canadian Aviation Regulations and Standards, as are necessary for the performance of the assigned duties.
- Successful completion of Transport Canada Regulatory Designate Exam and Process.
