Site Foreman

This position will be responsible for coordinating the site operations, assigning tasks and operating equipment. The position reports to the General Manager and will work independently in communication with members of the team.

**Tasks include**:

- Assigning tasks to operators and labourers and following up to ensure they are comfortable with tasks and completing according to plan
- Answering questions, solving problems and changing the plan as needed
- Operating loader, excavator as part of the operations team
- Attending toolbox talks and regular team meetings
- Helping to promote a positive, safe, and respectful working environment
- Other tasks as they arise and as required

**Essential Attributes**:

- Proven track record of supervising employees at industrial site, with good communication skills
- Heavy equipment operating experience
- Understanding of soil and composting or a willingness to learn
- Positive attitude able to remain safe, calm and productive in busy environment
- Willingness to work alone and as part of a team
- Proven track record of reliable attendance and good work ethic

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
