We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Project Analyst to join our Toronto office.

The Project Analyst will be a business partner to the project teams and provide support through the project life cycle from contributing to the planning process, setting KPIs, and analyzing project performance to providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

In this unique role, your expertise in project accounting and management, resources planning and revenue recognition standards will be instrumental.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure revenue is being recognized in compliance with the new ASPE standard 3400.
- Provide support to project managers to track project profitability and timelines.
- Assist in developing project plans at the inception of the project.
- Work closely with project accountants to gain better understanding of project deliverables and schedules.
- Monitor project plan vs actuals and follow-up with the appropriate teams on a monthly basis to ensure the plans are being kept up to date.
- Enter and update project plans in BST
- Participate in monthly projections meetings - monitor staff availability and utilisation, update project staff requests and ensure alignment between project fees and staffing
- Support weekly staffing meetings
- Assist in the buildup of Project Monitor Reports for new projects
- Coordinate staff availability with vacation schedules
- Work closely with project accounting team to develop synergies and best practices
- Assist with project related audits as necessary
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- CPA designation or equivalent
- 7+ years experience in the industry
- Project Management and resource planning experience
- Familiarity with ASPE revenue recognition methods
- Ability to think analytically and critically, with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
