The Application Specialist (AS) of GN Corporations Inc. is responsible for the design and development of solutions-based manufacturing and processes within the integrated management system. All new product development includes estimating of machining and all value-added services; Pre-Production and Post-Production meetings; and monitoring the development process by ensuring compliance to schedule and manufacturing plan. This position shall report on evaluating the performance effectiveness of the implemented system.

**Specific Functions**

As part of the technology team, the ME will interact with a variety of managers from different departments. GN’s AS job description includes the following:

- **Estimating**
- Controlling and managing the customer requirements
- Determine the stages and controls for the solution of process
- Collaborate with the Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality Team for all product development
- Controlling and managing the external customer requirements
- Acquire and document all required inputs and outputs from relevant interested parties
- Audit the development process and ensure compliance to customer requirements
- Validate and coordinate all required products, processes, and materials
- **Pre-Production Meeting**
- Drive, manage, and influence the inputs and outputs with stakeholders and assist in the development of new (GN and Customer) products
- Process Flow Charts
- Product Development Plan
- FMEA
- Quality Control Plan
- Identify and document the key characteristics of the process for controlling variation
- Collaborate with the Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality Team for all product development
- Accountable for the efficient working of the cross functional team and maintain interpersonal relationships
- Acquire and document all required inputs and outputs from relevant interested parties
- Drive and document corrective and preventative actions to ensure timely resolutions related to product development
- Audit the development process and ensure compliance to customer requirements
- Validate and coordinate all required products, processes, and materials
- Comply to all TQM procedures and customer requirements
- **Post-Production Meeting**
- Drive, manage, and influence the inputs and outputs with stakeholders and assist in the development of new (GN and Customer) products
- Collaborate with the Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality Team for all product development
- Drive and document corrective and preventative actions to ensure timely resolutions related to product development
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the Product Development Plan
- **Additional Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Participate actively in training, operational improvement teams, preventative and corrective actions and identifying non-conformities.
- Responsible for the correct use protective clothing and equipment as provided by GN Corporations Inc. and for guarding against misuse or damage to such equipment.
- Responsible for reporting any hazardous situations arising in the workplace that cannot be self-corrected, or injury incurred during work, no matter how minor.
- Responsible for avoiding injury resulting from manual handling tasks associated with his/her employment, by use of risk assessment, correct mechanical handling equipment and appropriate manual handling techniques.
- **Industry Standards and Regulations** - Be familiar with all relevant industry standards, recommended practices and regulations. Monitor self-compliance with company, industry, environment and government requirements as well as promote their acceptance in all aspects of company business.

**Minimum Job Qualifications**
- 5-10 years' experience in CNC programming and machining
- Experience in CAD/CAM (SolidWorks/Esprit)
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100D, IATF 16949 is advantageous
