Things Engraved is a leading provider of personalized gifts, dedicated to creating memorable and unique products for our customers. Our facility in Ottawa utilizes a mix of different technologies to offer thousands of products, including laser engravers, UV printers, sublimation, embroidery, and direct-to-garment printing equipment, to craft high-quality and customized items that bring joy to our clients.

**Position: Machine Operator / Production Worker**

**Responsibilities**:
Production:

- Assess scope of work presented daily to ensure all orders can be produced in the expected timelines and immediately identify and address any production issues.
- Optimize workflow and equipment allocation to maximize efficiency.
- Operate equipment to produce orders and meet delivery timing obligations.
- Keep accurate records of production data.
- Ensure orders move through production and to quality control and shipping in an organized manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Quality Control:

- Adhere to rigorous quality control processes to ensure the highest standard of personalized products.
- Troubleshoot and report any issues related to equipment or production processes to management.

Equipment Management:

- Maintenance of laser engravers (Co2 and fiber), UV printers, sublimation equipment, embroidery as well as direct to garment and film printing equipment.
- Document and report any breakdowns or issues with equipment.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Capable of working full days
- Reliable and results driven
- Experience in a production role, preferably in the consumer gift or printing industry.
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: laser engravers, UV printers, sublimation, embroidery, and direct-to-garment printing equipment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
