Dartmouth, Canada Mindful Therapies Full time

Mindful Therapies has an immediate opening for a part-time evening on-site Clinical Social Worker. Flexible days/times but minimum commitment is 6 clinical hours per week. Join our warm and kind group of therapists who specialize in evidence-based care for a wide range of adult mental health concerns. Case consultation opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Included in these positions are:

- Case noting
- Report writing
- Consultation meetings
- Supervision of students
- Possible self
- and clinic-marketing efforts (public information, attendance of community events)
- Improving clinical operations/service delivery as per discussion with management
- Additional supportive training/experience

Qualifications:

- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work from an educational institution acceptable to the respective Registration Boards of Nova Scotia
- Registered with the Nova Scotia Association of Social Work, with private practice licence.
- Experience in doing Psycho-social assessments and/or assessments for treatment
- Demonstrated ability in cognitive behaviour therapy, group therapy and mindfulness-based

therapies. Preference is for training in evidence-based trauma therapies including Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Prolonged Exposure (PE) and/or Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
- Experience providing supervision

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $108.00-$126.00 per hour
