We are looking for an Equipment Operator to join the BC Eco team at our sort yard in Salmo, BC. - Part-time hours increasing to full-time work when Weighmaster experience attained

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Proficiently operate hydraulic log loader and wheel loader
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
- Operate scale for weighing trucks
- Identify various tree species
- Train and study to become ticketed Weighmaster
- Maintain and clean scale sites and infrastructure
- Ensure company policies, core values and culture are being consistently upheld
- Perform additional duties as assigned

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**

As a member of the BC Eco team, we expect you bring the following to the table:

- Previous experience operating hydraulic log loader with power clam and/or wheel loader
- Experience as a Weighmaster preferred
- Ability to identify various tree species preferred
- Desire to learn and pursue Weighmaster licence
- Mechanical aptitude and capable of performing basic daily equipment maintenance
- Aptitude for numbers and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Physically fit and able to walk uneven ground and site locations
- Motivated self-starter with positive attitude and proven safety record
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
