**About the Role**

leadership skills and a passion for IT operational excellence. The individual is able to multitask and

thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a propensity towards IT gap analysis/problem solving and

the drive to see those ideas through to fruition.

This is a hands on mid level role reporting to senior executive management, with significant

opportunity for vertical career growth, aligning with our digital transformation strategy.

**About You - **Minimum Qualifications
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years working experience in IT.
- Experience assessing, costing and implementing the latest IT innovations and best practices.
- Strong working knowledge with MS Azure, Active Directory, MS Office 365 and Powershell.
- Mid to Expert level experience with computer systems, security, network and systems administration.
- Strong working knowledge of API's and software platform integration/communication.
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
- A solid working understanding of full stack software development is considered an asset.

**What You'll be Doing**

The IT Manager's primary objectives are implementing and maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure,

while continuously researching and implementing strategic solutions focused on operational excellence.
- Works with senior management to implement corporate IT policies, and strategic plans to drive digital transformation objectives.
- Work with Operational, Finance, and software teams to continuously optimize proprietary and off the shelf software.
- Manages IT partners, suppliers, vendors focused on reducing costs and increasing effectiveness.
- Monitors the IT environment and establishes processes/innovation for prompt resolution of problems.
- Ensures effective security and reduced risk across all desktops, servers and network devices across North America.
- Continuously improve, automate and simplify IT processes through PowerShell and other tools.
- Assist internal software development team with strategic and tactical planning to support business objectives.
- Ensure all functional areas of the organization are assisted in the use of software and data management.
- Continuously improve IT service levels to meet evolving and growing business needs.
- Supporting annual budgeting requirements.
