Budtender

Budtender needed for downtown retail location. Looking for someone with retail/point of sale/customer service background. Should have cannabis knowledge and experience. We focus on providing a knowledgeable, pleasant experience for customers.

You should be easy going, patient and comfortable in a retail environment guiding customers through their purchases.

If you are active on social media/within the community this is a positive. Experience and profiency with graphic design ideal.

Duties will include;
- Welcoming customers and providing information on products available
- Accepting payments via in store POS, managing inventory
- Closing out registers at end of day
- General cleaning of cabinets, floors, windows throughout the day
- Posting specials to social media/Updating In Store Flyers

Follow regulations laid out by Liquor and Cannabis Board. You must complete an online Selling it Right Course prior to selling product to the public (reimbursed). Criminal Record check will be done for theft and serious infractions.

Staff Discount Available.

**Salary**: $16.50-$19.00 per hour

- Vernon, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
