Project Construction Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage organization of a new 32-unit residential construction jobsite located in Spryfield. Future projects include but not limited to residential construction, self-storage units, commercial constriction.
As our project manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
Specific project manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.
Minimum 5 -7 years experience in managing new construction is required. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. You also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.
Some roles and responsibilities will include: - opening and closing up the jobsite - keeping the job site clean - organizing deliveries and returns with suppliers - obtaining quotes for new items - Ensuring jobsite safety and security - coordinating trades - checking for deficiencies - must be familiar with NS building codes - updating the directors with cost and timeline analysis - reporting jobsite activities to the directors as needed
Must be able to start immediately and have your own vehicle (preferably a truck). Working hours are generally 7:00am - 4:00pm. Must be physically fit and able to move / carry large items.
