**About the position**:
Currently, we are looking for an experienced industry professional, to join our Projects division as a** Manager of Project Management Excellence**. This position can be based out of Houles **Victoria or Burnaby** office, or remote.

Reporting to the Chief Estimator this person will work across the company to improve project execution through training, compliance, process optimization, playing a key role in the development and mentorship of our Project Manager/ Estimators.

**Manager, Project Management Excellence Responsibilities**:

- Build a culture of collaboration and trust across all Houle
- Continually drive estimate review compliance and assist operational leaders with estimate reviews as required
- Implement process improvement, standardization and aligning best practices across Houle
- Supporting, education and mentoring of Project Manager/ Estimators in conjunction with leadership group to contribute in aligning vision, values, direction and standards across Houle
- Estimator training in estimating, process, Accubid, CRM, best practice, etc. in consultation with SMEs and operational leaders
- Project Manager training in process, CRM, SharePoint, best practice, process, reporting, labour forecasting, job forecasting etc. in consultation with SMEs and operational leaders
- Skills evaluation and assessment for Project Manager/ Estimators
- Positioning for upcoming opportunities and RFP/RFQ responses
- Supporting the Projects Group to contribute to seamless project execution and alignment of cross functional teams through the complete project cycle

**Experience and Skills**:

- 10+ years working in Project Management and Estimating in a construction / contracting environment
- Exceptional knowledge of Project Manager and Estimating best practices and proven ability to follow and enforce
- Strong business acumen
- Proven ability to coach and mentor others
- Proven ability to train and develop others and experience developing project managers and estimators
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced proficiency in Accubid Estimating software
- Must be team player with good interpersonal and English communication skills
