**Position Summary**

This position is responsible for gathering and inputting the digital template and all information pertaining to the job and ensuring an accurate finished job package for the shop. The other part of the role is to assist in purchasing stone for the production.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Program in CAD/CAM software (Icam, Alphacam), basic drafting in
- Create programs for 3-axis CNC machine centers and waterjet to cut and machine countertops from slab (according to drawings and templates)
- Use perfect match software (Slabsmith) to create a digital overlay for slabs with veins, movement, and intricate designs for client approval
- Plan jobs by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials specifications and tolerances.
- Turn Digital template and all corresponding information into useable cut files for the shop e.g. add sinks, seams, adjust stove openings, add over material
- Assist in ordering materials required for jobs on a daily basis
- Work in a safe manner that complies with all Safety Guidelines
- Contribute to team effort and completes other duties as required or assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Level 1 CAD
- Good computer skills, with some programming experience
- Knowledge of CNC operations an asset
- Experience working with stone countertop production an asset
- Strong attention to details
- Good communication skills
- Outstanding attendance and punctuality

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
