We are looking for a **Gradeperson** to join our team in the Fraser Valley.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work safely on a construction site and promote a safe work environment by adhering to Company and industry safety policies and procedures including participation in safety meetings.
- Work with the Foreman and the crew to establish daily layouts and setups.
- Set elevations and grades for roads, underground utilities, and other needs.
- Read drawings and check for completeness or errors.
- Achieve the correct grade by directing Equipment Operators to adjust the grade by moving earth, gravel, and other material.
- Proficient use and maintenance of different types of levels and survey equipment, including proper storage of equipment at end of the day.
- Maintain complete field notes and analyze results. Prepare reports as needed.
- Ability to work as a team with other Crew on daily activities of the site.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years’ experience in civil construction
- Experience as a Gradeperson or Surveyor
- Able to read and understand blueprints including cut/fills
- 2 years’ experience with GPS; Trimble or TopCon Rover System
- Experience in GPS as builds
- Experience with dual plain sloping lasers
- Possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
