**Responsibilities**:

- Write hourly National News roundups of the most-important stories right now for Canadians.
- Prepare and deliver a solid, contemporary newscast.
- Record audio and work with studio editor to send out clips from live/breaking news events.
- Write and record voice reports.
- Edit stories and newscasts, ensuring quality and adherence to CP style.
- Ideate and pitch story ideas.

Skills and Experience:

- Applicants must have at least 2-to-5 years of on-air newsroom experience - preferably in radio.
- Strong knowledge of news and current affairs.
- A flair for writing broadcast copy with an attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of digital media, specifically audio and broadcast.
- Familiarity with Audio software, preferably Burli.
- Solid news judgment and ability to make effective decisions quickly under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently.

Reporter-rédacteur(trice) - radio/présentateur(trice) de nouvelles (temps partiel)

- Rédiger des synthèses horaires résumant les grandes nouvelles.
- Préparer et livrer un bulletin de nouvelles solide et moderne.

- Rédiger et enregistrer des topos.
- Réviser les reportages et les bulletins, pour assurer leur qualité et conformité avec le style de la PC.
- Concevoir et proposer des idées de reportage.

Compétences et expérience:

- Excellente connaissance de l’actualité et des affaires publiques.
- Habilité à rédiger du texte destiné à la radio avec un souci du détail.
- Excellente connaissance des médias numériques, particulièrement l’audio et la radiodiffusion.
- Connaissance des logiciels audio, de préférence Burli.
- Solide jugement journalistique et habileté à prendre des décisions efficaces rapidement et sous la pression de délais serrés.
- Habilité à travailler de façon autonome.
