United Contracting Inc is a family owned and operated company.
We are looking for a Site Supervisor to oversee the construction of our new locations and to manage the day-to-day operations of the construction project. The Site Supervisor will report directly to the Site Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project from planning to execution.
**Duties**:
- Oversee site personnel including construction superintendents, foremen, and other construction professionals
- Plan, coordinate, and manage site activities including scheduling, equipment maintenance, equipment installation, and other activities necessary for site operations
- Establish project schedules
- Ensure that all safety requirements are being met at all times during the project (including OSHA, local codes, local subcontractors, etc.)
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Manager or Project Manager
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in Site Supervisor role or similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects at once while still maintaining focus
- Ability to manage multiple projects with limited supervision while maintaining high quality standards in all aspects of project execution
- Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team group
**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- construction: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
