**Hertz Rental Agent Opportunity**
Hertz Blue Star Leasing is a Vehicle Rental Business, located at 275 Queensway West, in Simcoe (Norfolk County).
Currently, we a searching for a Part-Time Rental Agent. The role involves facilitating rentals to customers in a friendly and professional manner. As well as, cleaning vehicles (interiors & exteriors), administrative duties, and ensuring the lot is well-maintained, and optimally merchandized at all times.
This opportunity will require the availability of Monday thru Friday and half day Saturdays, as required. (Part-Time: approximately 5 to 10 hours per week... in addition to full-time hours to cover Full-Time Staff personal days, vacation days, etc.
**Duties will include but might not be limited to the following**:
- Effectively handle telephone calls & rentals, **on your own in-store**:
- Create a positive customer service experience by listening to and identifying customers’ needs
- Ability to right-sell (when necessary) and make recommendations to meet customers’ needs
- Engage with customers, courteously and professionally
- Complete reservations in an accurate and timely manner
- Answer general customer questions and resolve any customer concerns
- Provide accurate information regarding rentals and selling of insurance
- Ensure all regulations are adhered to by customers
- Work hard to ensure overall customer satisfaction
- Conduct thorough walk-arounds on every incoming and outgoing rental (to inspect for exterior & interior damage, as well as to check all fuel levels)
- Bring vehicle to customer upon arrival
- Assist customers with various post-rental inquiries involving the rental and billing process
- Handle calls from customers requesting to extend or alter their existing rental agreement
- Lot management & maintenance
- Fuel vehicles offsite, as required
- Clean vehicle interiors & exteriors, in a timely manner, to ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide a top-notch, professional valet rental experience for all customers
**Experience / Requirements**
- Customer Service in a Retail Environment
- General knowledge to process customer transactions (cash, debit, credit)
- Data entry using a computer / rental software
- Excellent driving & parking skills (with valid Driver’s License)
- Conviction-Free Background

**Location Hours of Operation**:
Monday through Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm
**Compensation**:Hourly Rate of Pay
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5-10 per week
**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
