**This is a Permanent Full-time role to cover the 4 PM to Midnight shift**

Reporting to the Manager, the Team Lead - Specimen Processing is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations which includes the organization of the daily work in a safe environment, coaching and training of the staff, as well as taking appropriate actions to maintain a continuous workflow and his shift.

What you will be doing
- Organize the daily work of the team, ensure that tasks are completed on time and solve common problems
- Ensure documentary traceability of the receipt and shipment of biological samples
- Follow up on anomalies and non-conformities in collaboration with the various Dynacare departments and implement corrective actions, if necessary
- Participate in daily tasks such as data entry and verification of medical requests, as needed Participate in the optimization of operational processes and the implementation of new services
- Write and update operational procedures
- Perform the training necessary for the development of the team
- Ensure compliance with quality standards according to the procedures in place
- Any other responsibility assigned by the immediate superior

What YOU bring to the Role
- College or university degree in a relevant field, or certified MLA
- 1-3 years of experience in data entry and management of biological samples
- Bilingualism (French/English both oral and written) an asset
- Knowledge of ISO / GLP standards an asset
- Knowledge of WHIMIS and TDG and asset
- Autonomous, responsible, sense of organization and planning
- Strong communication skills and effective teamwork skills
- Ability to manage priorities
- Ability to work in a changing and constantly evolving environment
- Availability to work overtime as needed
