Position Title - Associate Insurance Advisor I

**Summary**

Sonya’s Insurance & Financial Solutions Ltd.—The Co-operators is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team as an Associate Insurance Advisor based out of the Assiniboia office. Consisting of our Assiniboia and Moose Jaw locations, we believe in working as a team while focusing on proficient and excellent client service in a multi-line insurance and financial services setting.

The Associate Insurance Advisor I is a key player in the support and development of the agency operation primarily through sales, service and administration. This role utilizes a broad knowledge of The Co-operators insurance products and services focusing on our personal lines (Home and Auto) and providing support to the Associate Insurance Advisor II.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Sales, service and profitable growth in Home and Auto business lines products
- Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs
- Actively focus on prospecting for all lines of business by identifying and recommending additional products/services that benefit the client
- Complete front-line risk assessment and selection following underwriting guidelines
- Complete inspections and re-inspections
- Achieve individual goals for client service, sales, quality and productivity and contribute to the achievement of overall agency sales and growth goals
- Respond to client questions and concerns, resolve customer concerns and escalate issues appropriately
- Support life insurance/financial services lines by providing clients a holistic approach to risk management and being able to identify the client’s overall needs.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Office Administrative Program or administrative experience is an asset
- Customer service experience or related business experience is preferred
- Skilled in communication (verbal and written), strong interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strict confidentiality with respect to client’s personal information
- Must hold a valid driver’s license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
