**Job description**

The **IT Supervisor **is responsible for providing 1st level support to customers and ensuring their issues are resolved quickly and completely in an upbeat and professional manner. You will be responsible for responding to technical support requests in the head office and on-site, work with head office personnel to manage any IT issues, and to assist with other technical work including installations and upgrades for both hardware and software. The incumbent may also be called upon to work on special projects or take on additional tasks from time to time.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Provide support, analyze reported issues and provide customers accurate solutions for their issues.
- Uses logic and methods as necessary to solve difficult problems and provide accurate solutions.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to personnel, company operations and financial matters.
- Serve as an expert resource to other departments as required while continuously aiming to improve.
- Submit and follow-up on case escalations as required.
- Assist in remote upgrades for existing sites. This involves close interaction and organization with IT management and administration along with all levels of hotel personnel.
- Complete assigned cases and projects in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned to oversee all IT and technology in our head office and various sites.

**Required Experience**:

- College/university degree preferred in computer science or other relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of computer software, hardware operating systems, network communications and MS Office Suit.
- Experience with Network technologies, Windows Server, IIS/Web Technologies, Databases and SQL.
- Ideally 2+ year of experience with hospitality software systems and POS systems.
