We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary role will be to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to the premises. If you have a strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring the safety of others, we encourage you to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Investigate alarms or disturbances and act accordingly
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons

**Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems (CCTV)
- Trained in first aid and self-defense

**Requirements**:

- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Guard Card
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Strong communication skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.55-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (preferred)
