The Pedagogical Leader is responsible for ensuring a high quality, positive learning environment for children by mentoring educators, side-by-side onboarding, training, and professional development of teaching teams, bringing expertise in curriculum design and pedagogical best practice, and managing challenging behaviors in children.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Post-secondary diploma in Early Childhood Education (RECE) with a minimum of two (2) years experience in childcare administration and member in good standing with CECE
- Proficiency in French and English, spoken and written
- Valid First Aid & CRP-C certificate, Valid Food Handler certificate, Current Police Vulnerable Sector Check (CPIC)
- Reflective thinker who approaches challenging situation with a lens of inquiry, empathy, and curiosity
- Competency to work without supervision
- Excellent time-management skills
- Experience in transfer to practice through relationship building and mentorship

- Promote teamwork and a healthy, positive work environment
- Ensures developmentally appropriate curriculum that align with children’s interests and reflects values of equity, diversity, and the children’s home cultures and lived experiences
- Builds positive, professional relationships with educators, children and families
- Ensures implementation and alignment of curriculum and child experience with the planning and expectations of Magic Triangle
- Models a high level of professionalism, including direct communication, use of legislative knowledge, and maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Actively plans for and supports educator’s learning and professional growth and goals
- Exemplifies and reinforces Magic Triangle’s cultural values and high level of professionalism

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $25.00-$29.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week
