**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Training Program.
- Current registration with ARDMS/CARDUP in Abdomen and OB/Gyne.
- Two years Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound experience in the past five years in a similar hospital setting.
- Advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in vascular (carotid and venous), small parts, neuro and assisting in interventional procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the production and assessment of diagnostic ultrasound images.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Applies knowledge, skills, judgment and competencies required for safe, independent and inter-disciplinary practice by meeting accepted standards.
- Applies Niagara Health values and professional practice standards to patient/client care and service.
- Integrates reflection, critical thinking, education and relevant practical experience in problem solving.
- Working knowledge of Hospital and Diagnostic Imaging Information and Imaging Systems and other related computer systems.
- Must be available for all shifts, vacation replacement, sick, paid holidays and call backs.
- Consistent and regular attendance required.
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
