**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Music Director to lead our musical initiatives and enhance the overall artistic vision of our organization. The Music Director will be responsible for overseeing all musical aspects, including conducting rehearsals, coordinating performances, and fostering a collaborative environment among musicians. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to educating and inspiring others through music.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct rehearsals and performances, ensuring high-quality musical execution.
- Collaborate with musicians to develop arrangements and adapt music for various ensembles.
- Educate musicians on techniques, styles, and interpretations to enhance their performance skills.
- Communicate effectively with team members to promote a positive and productive rehearsal environment.
- Write program notes and other educational materials to engage audiences and provide context for performances.
- Organize auditions, workshops, and community outreach programs to promote musical education.
- Foster relationships with local schools, organizations, and community members to expand our reach and impact.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in conducting or directing musical ensembles is preferred.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating educational materials and program notes.
- Ability to educate musicians of varying skill levels, fostering growth and development.
- A deep understanding of music theory, composition, and various musical genres is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team setting.
