**Responsibilities**:

- Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
- Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
- Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance work.
- Read blueprints or drawings to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Operate equipment such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and tenoners.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Collingwood, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person
